I'm a lifelong artist, descended from real artists, and a member of the
Professional Photographers of America.
A world renown photographer once asked me if I'm into photography for
the love of money or the love of art. If for money, he said, then
pursue photography as a business. If for art, then make it your hobby.
So I'm an IT manager by day and shoot whenever I can.
My goal is to capture the beauty of God's world--especially the passion
and emotion of life--so I prefer to shoot in the photojournalistic
style and my favorite subject is people. And there's nothing more
beautiful than a wedding, my favorite subject of all!
The highlight of my career so far was spending a week in the field shooting with "Nikon Legend"
Tony Sweet, who called me one of the "hottest" photographers he's worked with--the temperature was over 100 degrees! Tony is not a people photographer at all but I love his work and
learned a lot from him. Check out my Nature gallery for some of the
work we did that week.
What you see here is a preview of my work since going digital a couple of years ago.
